When connection feels out of reach
Talk about low mood, loneliness, and the parts of life that have become harder to engage with.
More Than What Others See
You may keep showing up for work or family while feeling distant from the life around you. Conversations can feel effortful. Things you once looked forward to may no longer hold the same interest. You might not know how to explain the change. In our work, there is room to describe what your days actually feel like without having to make them sound better.

Understanding What Has Changed
Low mood and disconnection can have different meanings for different people. Depression can involve changes in interest, energy, concentration, and sleep as well as sadness. These experiences deserve an individual assessment rather than an assumption based on a webpage. If symptoms persist, speaking with a qualified health care professional can help clarify the support that is appropriate.

The Relationship With Yourself
When you are struggling, the way you speak to yourself can become another source of pain. You may compare your current energy with what you used to manage or judge yourself for needing help. I want to understand those expectations with you. We can look at the beliefs and experiences behind them, along with the strengths you may be overlooking.

The Relationship With Other People
Feeling disconnected can affect how you respond to people you care about. You might pull back because explaining yourself feels exhausting, then feel more alone. We can talk about a particular relationship or interaction rather than treating connection as an abstract goal. What do you want someone to understand? What feels difficult to ask for or receive?
Work That Is Personal and Practical
I bring a warm, collaborative style with room for honest feedback. We may explore patterns from earlier experiences, but I also want to understand what is difficult today. The work can include naming emotions, considering how you respond to them, and discussing choices that fit your current circumstances. The pace and focus need to make sense for you.
Your Reasons for Reaching Out
You might want help understanding a period of low mood, adjusting after a loss, or feeling more connected to yourself following a major change. These concerns can overlap. You do not have to choose a perfect explanation before asking about therapy. We can discuss what is happening, what you hope to address, and whether this practice is a suitable starting point.

A Conversation About Fit
A brief message about individual therapy, current fees, or availability is enough; please keep personal clinical details out of it. The contact page outlines how to get started. An inquiry is not an appointment or an emergency service. For more about the way I work, read the approach page; for changes in roles, relationships, or direction, read about life transitions.
